Have you ever purchased live plants or fish at Petsmart?

I've purchased supplies there, but for my fish, I go to a little mom-and-pop fish store. They have the healthiest fish ever! I use silk plants. I'm a fish keeper, not a gardener. I just have no interest in dealing with live plants. So, I can't advise you other than to say, if it's anything like the fish, I'd go to a mom-and-pop fish store if you have one around you.

yeah. they are relatively healthy. just make sure you ask for ones that don't have loads of algae on them and you should be good. after you buy them place them in a bleach/water solution. do not use a lot of bleach because you will kill the plant. the point is to kill any snails or algae

Yes, I have purchased their plants. They are useless , they told me to add this solution to the water to help maintain their colour, but it doesn´t do anything. My fishes eat them, I got them last week and they are already dying. I got my fish from somewhere else.

Silk or plastic plants in an aquarium just look fake, there's no other way to say it. If you know you are going to want to plant real plants in your aquarium when you are setting it up, you can purchase a special aquarium silt to place under your gravel. Go to your favorite aquarium and purchase your aquarium plants. Purchase a freshwater plant fertilizer that is safe for your fish. Consider purchasing a grow light for your aquarium. New plants often have snails on them that you will not readily see. Fish will sometimes pull up aquarium plants or even eat or shred them. Grow lights will also increase the amount of algae in your aquarium.
