always got into financial trouble? My dad is like that. He can't manage money, or his life to save himself. I think he's just crazy, I see it in his family. Now that I'm grown up, I want to get my mom out of this situation, but I'm not in a financial position to do so.

Did you ever have a spouse that was an idiot with money and always put themselves in financial jeopardy? I'd love to hear your stories.

Oh yeah, my dad is a doctor. He really should be financially well-off but he isn't. Let's just say he operates his finances and personal life like Michael Jackson, complete with the scumbag losers that scam and rob him all the time.

My dad is so stupid with his life, he refuses to make hotel reservations before he leaves on trips.

He's lucky he's a doctor, he would never have held down a job doing anything else.
 
My ex husband thought he could budget money but he couldn't. One time he went behind my back and him and a friend of his decided to go into buisness together. His friend had not worked in over 10 years. They opened up a checking account in both of their names and wrote hot checks. Theri so called business lasted about 2 weeks. Goes to show how much of an idiot those 2 were.
The other day my son and I were going somewhere and my son started laughing.He told me, "There goes dad in his shitty van. The door fell off and instead of him buying the part, he uses a kotter key to keep the door in place." I didn't say anything, I started laughing too.
