I did it once in europe

i was trying to get back to my hotel after taking the wrong bus and getting dropped in the middle of nowhere...

wasn't all that fun tho
 
where were you going? how was the experience?
do u dare go in a car of a stranger?

I recently met two guys from Europe, they came all the way to Lebanon hitch hiking. it seems so fun and i think it is more safe if ur with someone!
 
Hitch hiking yes but not auto stop!!! But i like trying new things..Nice idea. Perhaps i'll do it but have one of my friends with me =) Thanks for the idea!
 
I took a bus and hitchiked my way to Oklahoma (state in USA) to visit my cousin, I went from florida, my parents didnt know though, i told em im going to a tennis camp with friends to miami for a week, which i was planning too, but my cousin was in need, so i traveled state to state with bus and hitchiking, i was like 16, so it was bout a year and a half ago, i wouldnt recommend doing it, though i wasnt really scared, i had something with me that woulda helped if someone dared attack me, i had money with me though, not alot but enough to keep me from looking like a bum, it was so scary though i gotta admit, and it sure as hell was not worth it.....
 
With two people is always safer, but most of the time It is a car full of people who pick me up; when I hitched alone. I hitched from Spain to Nürnberg Germany.
