Have you ever clapped in the cinema at the end of a film?

LoaRAB of times, though mainly at film festivals. I remember being at the first ever screening of Le Donk & Scor-zay-zee and the opening credits got a large round of applause.

Only twice, at an 80's film retrospective thing a few years ago.One was at the end of "Back to the future" and the other was "Ghostbusters"

I clapped then and I would do it again

I remember we went mad with excitement at the premier screening (in LeeRAB) of Return Of The Jedi. The whole cinema cheered and clapped when it started.

I've only clapped twice and the end of a film in the pictures

First one I was at the premiere of Star Trek: First Contact but only because some of the cast were there.

Second time was when I went to see Saving Private Ryan, it was awesome, not in the "Duuuuude" way, but in the  way :) i never budged off my seat through the whole film even though i'd drank a huge cup of pepsi lol me and quite a few people clapped at the end of that :)

When I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, half the cinema (me included) were clapping at the end. And everybody (well, all the teenage girls; again, me included!) went nuts when Jack turned up.

I think its nice when people clap I don't see why it annoys people. I wanted to clap at the end of Inception but it got a load of annoyed grunts (in a good way you will know what I mean if you have seen the ending) I was part of this.

The only time I have heard people clap is at the end of Avatar (me not included) and at the end of fantastic 4 2 (again me not included) The only other time I wanted to clap was at the end of The Dark Knight

Def seen it and taken part in the USA - Apollo 13 and Speed spring to mind.
Went to see This is It on a very dull Sunday morning and I actually lead the clapping :)

I've never clapped at the end of a film. However I've been to 5 films where the audience clapped at the end.

"Star Wars Episode III Revenge Of The Sith"
"Charlie & The Chocolate Factory" (Tim Burtons Version)
"Gran Torino"
"Wolverine"
"Star Trek" (2009)

Think I've clapped end of Iron Man and Transformers. Mainly because I loved the film. I didn't start clapping btw :p Others did and I joined in :D
