I just got a great answer to a computer question that saved me hours of worry and probably days of fumbling around to fix it. The guy had about 250 points or something. He had just joined and he was able to help the people of this community do something useful!!
I am a big YA fan. Anybody else out there feel that way sometimes? Have you ever gotten any really great knowledge or advice that you could not get elsewhere? And it is all FREAKING FREEEEEEE!! Can you believe it?
Thanks for all the answers. I do agree that the computer answers can be hit and miss. Heck, all answers are here on YA, but the computer thing was really frustrating. 5 years ago, it was easy to find drivers and walktrhoughs and manuals. Now everything is all full of ads and stuff is very hard to find using search engines. Even the corporate sites have dumbed things down to telling you to send it in for repair. Well, I am 8000 miles away from the nearest repair center... so for get that. YA did it for me this time. THANKS YA!!!
Lemon Drop, there is a rumor that you post here a lot when you are high. Is that true? haha.
Dude. You mess with the clock, you cook your board. You were lucky to get out of that. I used to overclock from 120 MHz to 150 MHz.... ah those were the days. Stuff is way too hot and the lines are way too small these days.
