Have you ever been attacked by a large wild life animal and survived to tell the story?

I want to hear people's stories...no silly answers. I was once attacked by a wildcat in the deep woods of Alabama. I guess it attacked me because of the mating season, i was scratched and bitten and all over until I was finally able to kick it in the stomach and run back into the civilian streets. I later had to go get checked for rabies. I was negative.
