Not 10pm quite yet
that moon called my name
Put on my winter coat
stepped into my flip-flops
out the door I went
strolled around on sidewalk
the breeze, though cold, invited me
off with the flops and a little
dance I did. Twirling, leaping
smiling and yes giggling
The moon and stars so bright
I felt like I was in the spot light
as I danced around the car
I giggled as I thought of
all my yahoo friends...
How many would dance bare foot
wearing a winter coat
under a big bright moon like that?
Although the moon isn't officially full
until December two,
I did a little dance
for me and for you
Vanity--I don't dance with the devil...
OH Shirley, it was cold but we don't have snow yet!!!!!!! (that prolly wouldn't have stopped me last night---giggles)
