I haven't been to China since 2006 on a work visa. Now I would like to go back to travel for 5 weeks and am wondering, what do I need to do to get a tourist visa? I've been reading different websites that say when I apply for a visa, I need to let them know which hostels/hotels I will be staying at for every day that I am in the country??
I know where I'm staying the first 4 days (I've booked online) but beyond that I have no idea as I was planning on seeing where I would end up. Is this going to be a problem? I don't want to book hostel reservations for 5 weeks...
