Have to give a toast and I don't know the groom?

What do I do? I have to give a toast at my friend's wedding. I've known her since middle school, but I've only met the groom once or twice. What do I say in my toast if I don't even know the guy?
 
I would stick to talking about the bride to a certain extent, instead of trying to include details about the groom. You could say how much happier the bride has been since she has met her groom, and wish both of them a happy lifetime together. Include funny stories (but not too embarassing) about the bride, the best man will cover the speech that focusses more on the groom.
