I think it has. The worst thing about this year's Oscars has to be Heath Ledger getting an Oscar. Now don't get me wrong; I think it's terrible that this young actor died so prematurily in such a tragic maner, but that should not be THE reason to give him an Oscar! Lets face it, if he hadn't died, not only DN would not have become a blockbuster (it would have done no better than the last Batman movie) but it would not even have been mentioned at the Oscars!
This "awards" show is nowadays inseparable from politics and lobyists! It is no longer a show where THE BEST are awarded, and it is no longer fun. Even the post-oscars reviews (EG: L. A. Times Oscars best & worst) are ridiculous and laughable.
