Yesterday I introduced a new male betta to a female, removed the old male betta because he seemed sick. She already had eggs, and the new male betta made a bubble nest pretty much straight away - the next day (today) I introduced them (early I know!!) and then went out for three hours. When I came back the girl was in the middle of the tank and the boy was hanging around the nest. When he sees her he chases her (like they did when I first introduced them). The nest however looks bigger and is quite thick, some bubbles seem white. Do you think they have already bred and there are eggs in the nest? If so, should I remove the girl betta into another tank...
