have lost all pics- help!

Hi I have a google G1, and all has been working perfectly up until now when u try to find an image in my gallery and I have gone from 300odd to 5.

Does anyone know what has happened and can please help me out.

Connect your phone to your computer, mount the USB drive, and see if can find your pictures. They're probably in the DCIM folder.

Thanks for your response, I have just connected it, and i cannot find the photos at all.

Is there any chance of getting them back? I would be gutted if there wasnt.

with the phone connected to your computer, you can search the SD card for *.jpg (or for images, in windows) but it doesn't look good at this point.

Thanks, I have searched for it and I stil cannot find anything. Please let there be soming more I can do. I have some pictures that were priceless. I feel really gutted now.

Are other files still on your SD card? Or was it completely blank?

On your SD card, was there a "dcim" folder? If so what's in there? Any files or folders at all?

If they've been deleted somehow you could try looking for an undelete program and seeing if it can recover any of the files. However, you will almost certainly need a card reader plugged directly into your computer for this, and I'm really not very hopeful.
