I was really talking about the sequence where she was shot in the head, and when she was in her coma. All we got from Vol. 1 was that she wanted revenge for this. Yes, Vol. 2 does contain more detail and understanding for the events which put her in her coma.

I wasn't all that impressed by Vol 2, especially as at the end they show clips from Vol1. It made it really obvious how much better Vol 1 was.

I can't believe the OP has never watched Kill Bill!! OMG Kill Bill 2 is great as it is the same story, but Kill Bill 1 is WOW!!
Don't rent these films, Buy them!! They are superb and you always enjoy watching them.
