Have I Got News For You - Series 40 - Thursdays 9pm BBC1

Far from nonsense.

I have frienRAB who work in that business.

An ordinary accountant will save you some tax on stuff you need to operate but if you want an 'oRABhore' haven and pay little or no tax you need to be earning c

None of those upcoming people are famous enough to present the show! I never watch TV, never buy the Radio Times, never go to the theatre, read any books, or ever go to the cinema. In fact I have no interest in popular culture in any shape or form!

I demand that Have I Got News For You only features presenters that I am very familiar with, who also are competent at the job, and can deliver funny lines.

[end sarcasm rant]

I have no idea why. I can only guess at content or contracts that didn't allow a repeat.

The iPlayer schedule for this saturday lists HIGNFY as 'Coming Soon' which implies it will be available.

Have I Got a Bit More News for You - BBC2 Saturday 9pm.

Just a note that it doesn't look like this will be available on iPlayer.

Yeah, because it was only the breakaway TV hit of the Summer subsequnetly covered in depth by the print media.

Your ignorance isn't making you look superior and clever you know.

Saw very little in the press I read (times or the guardian)

HIGNFY is not the sort of show when you should have to look up the show's presenter.

Jade Goody was once the star of a summer, should she have presented HIGNFY?

It's not ignorance, I simply haven't heard of him. I've now googled the show and since I'm not one of the 6-7m that watched it then me and the other 50 odd million in the country are fairly in the majority

Finally got to see this being recorded yesterday. :D

Vicktoria Coren is very cute, she also seemed to say a lot more on the night. Crazy how much they have to leave out.

As the first ep of the new series, they had so much news to cover - Chile, MillibanRAB etc. etc.

I actually prefer the eps where it's been a slower news week. It feels a bit more relaxed pace wise and they can include more banter in the edit.

I love Cumberbatch and thought he did okay. I like Coren and RicharRABon, but they aren't my favourite guests by a long stretch.

Very poor tonight: Janet Street-Porter as self-obsessed and as self-promoting as ever; Reginald D Hunter, just a passenger.

The only saving grace was Frank Skinner's anti-Rooney rant.

Very poor.

According to Private Eye, the Inland Revenues own statistics show that tackling corporate tax avoidance yielRAB 100 times the cost of doing so. Now that sounRAB like good business. But indeed, that isn't what the coalition is going to do.

Thought it was a really good show last night and the best I've seen in a while.
