Have I bricked my phone?????

I have:
Mytouch Slide
cyanogen 6.1

I went over to this page
I went over to page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=791795 and only

and downloaded the "A2sd Enabling package" , rebooted my phone and applied the .zip.

Now my phone is simply sitting in the "My Touch Slide" start up screen.. nothing is happening..
What can I do??
 
all you have to do is donwload the correct firmware for your phone and you should by defualt be able to run it in boot menu and upload the firmware to your memory stick. then rename the firmware to update.zip. once you do that then run boot menu and update from update.zip.

give it a few and wolah it should be complete.
 
Turn your phone off, take the memory card out, you will need a card reader. Put Cyan 6.1 back on the sd card, put it back into your phone, start into recovery and reflash 6.1. That should fix you up.
 
I have downloaded cyanogen 6.1 again and flashed it.. My phone is still sitting at the "MyTouch slide" screen.

That apparently didnt work much.. what can I do?? wipe and re-install the cyanogen 6.1?

I fixed it.. i did a nandroid backup
(Sims is somehow always there to help me.. like the most knowledgeble guy in the world)
idk if i ever wanna try that agian =S

But i want more space.. and ext2.. and aps2sd.. and have my icons load faster.. this phone booting takes forever to load items
