whining, why? Dog is 2yrs old. Has been at our home for about 4 days now. Sleeps in our bed with us and has been fine. For the first time, woke me up several times last night whining. Did not need out or not hungry/thirsty. What could it have been? Should I just see how the rest of the week goes before I start breaking my head? Is it at all possible that she is just now getting home sick? or would that have been displayed from night one? Thank you.
 
i think she's just adjusting to the new environment. most dogs who have a changed of environment tend to do that. she sleeps in your room, so make sure that when she's inside there's no chemical or spray smell present of any kind. that is harmful to dogs. try it out for a couple more days, ignore it for a while. she'll probably fully adjust in a week or so.
