Someone just today recommended Sno Sho White Shampoo for my flamepoint Himalayan. I asked on here the other day and Bio Groom White was recommended, as well as Blue Dawn.
The Sno Sho shampoo sounds like it takes out all color (not that I'll be shampooing the ears), but I'm concerned the stripe down the back will fade if I use Sno Sho White or Bio Groom White.
Which one is best for my cat's fur which would keep his flame-point stripe from ears do end of tail? Or if you know of another white shampoo that's better that will not remove the flamepoint stripe and keep his hair smooth and silky. I swear, it's time for his bath (his hair gets a dry feeling as I've been using Blue Dawn).
ANY help would be so much appreciated! Thank you SO much!

The brush doesn't work on the quadruple (lol) undercoat of a Himalayan, I have to use an actual "Greyhound" comb, it has wide-spread-apart comb-things. He gets combed every day (once in awhile I will miss ONE day, but only one day because he will matt up even by the end of one day.
I bathe him once per month only; he's good about it and enjoys it. He has no skin issues (I check once a week carefully on he and my other cats for everything. They are only indoor cats.
Food: I feed my cats Innova, pretty much one of the best of all. I went through a phase recently where I slowly mixed in Taste of the Wild which is also a superior food, but one of my cats apparently has an allergy to it (Taste of the Wild), so I weaned them completely back on Innova. High in meat content/proteins, little or no grain (Haven't read the ingredients in awhile). $38.00/15 pound bag - can only get at certain feed supply stores, not Petco for this food - I think he's okay, they thrive with the Innova.
Thanks Cafe Mocha, and both of you have been very helpful.
Oh, I had heard it was good to give them a bath once a month (the million-levels-of-fur cats) and he likes it a lot. Maybe I'll cut down, but he definitely needs one with some better shampoo because his color is a little off (there's a very long story behind this), and using the Blue Dawn seemed to make his hair dull and a little, almost sticky.. not sticky, but course.
Thanks again so much! I'm going to go wit
to finish the previous sentence, lol, ". . . going to go with Sho Sno!" Wahoooo a decision, finally!"
Apparently I can't vote yet. argh!
