Have cartoons ever gotten you in trouble at school?

Have repeating lines from cartoons or anything like that ever landed you in trouble?

One of the first ones I recall offhand - I got sent to the principal in 1st Grade because I called some other kid a moron.
I'm being told in a serious tone that "moron" is a "bad word" and he demands to know where I got it from.
"...Hey Arnold."
"WELL STOP WATCHING THAT SHOW."
Haha, screw you, I continued to watch it. :p

Also in 1st grade, I got a referral because I went around during class whispering an Ed, Edd, n Eddy quote into kids ears.

While not directly animation, in 2nd Grade me and a friend were talking about Captain Underpants and making fun of some cartoon character.
Some other kid neither of us knew heard us say ".. and he can be Professor Poopypants!" and assumed we were directing it at him, told on us, and I ended up in trouble, with a yard monitor firmly saying:
"HE IS NOT A POOPYPANTS."

I don't really remember any others offhand.
 
Had some free time in IT class once and was using it to browse certain news sites, including Gundam. Certain individuals, annoyed that 'free time' didn't allow for porn sites and such insisted on telling the teacher I was looking at 'Power Rangers' websites.

Of course that's getting off light. The same idiots later got into my friend's account and deleted his entire term's work before he could submit it....that school was REALLY falling apart.
 
Not quite animation, but I remember getting in trouble in 4th grade for bringing Calvin and Hobbes books to school and reading them during free reading time.
 
In seventh grade I was late for a class. However, I had a pass. When I was walking in the door all the other kids were like "you're late, you're late!" So I quoted Beavis from Beavis & Butthead and threw out a "I have a pass @ $ $wipe!" That got me a detention. I still maintain that if you're quoting something, it's not wrong!!!
 
Once in the seventh grade, I had a lot of homework to do and you know how much I hate homework (it wastes valuable time at home). The teacher was making it worse, telling me to complete these assignments. I was thinking of the ending of FOP's episode, "Party Of Three".

It was when Cosmo and Wanda were brushing their teeth instead of ... I don't know ... SAVING TIMMY FROM VICKY!:mad:

So, I had a tantrum where I yelled at her and I got in trouble afterwards.
 
I can recall being chided for singing a song about a certain lake from Animaniacs. I was lucky the teacher had kids, though.
 
In my elementary days we use to get in trouble alot because all the boys use to do in class was draw anime characters.

You know the DBZ ones.
 
This didn't happen to me but when I was in 5th grade, there was a kid in my class named Kyle who pretended that he was Ed from Ed Edd n Eddy all day long. When we went to PE and the teacher was doing attendance and got to his name, he says "I am not Kyle. I am Ed. Have you seen Double D? I'm looking for him." He was sent to time out.
