Transnational Speedway was a great album. Definately the only Clutch album I like.

well i meant that at first i didn't like it, but now i love it. it's more of a jamming record than seperate songs, so it kind of takes some time to get into it

the first song i heard by clutch was the soapmaker it rocks the band rocks

i have seen them live before i just don't remeraber cause i was ****faced.

I've seen Clucth preform three times now and they only get better. Really good musicians who can play a good show. I cant really compare them to anything but if you want to give them a try go to [link removed]
If u have heard of them tell me what u think.

I agree. Terrible, terrible video, but their performance is still great. It's the quality of the sound and footage of this camera. Also, I disagree with you, Antonio, they are definitely the type of band that's got me dancing the entire show. At the show I attended, there weren't people just standing around - everyone moved. I've found you another video, adidasss:

I must say, Neil puts on a better performance WITH his beard. ;)

I was just listening to some of the tracks off the self-titled on YouTube and it's actually quite a bit more mellow and stoner-ish than I remerabered (I haven't listened to the album in at least 13 years). But there is still some more hardcore sounding stuff too. This was my favorite song on the album back in the day:

i've never seen them live but i get the impression they're very much a jam band on stage. either you get into their groove or you get out of the bar until they're done. the overall video footage quality may vary but whatever, the music still rocks. that first video is testament to this - recording a live band with the built in mic in your camcorder = BAD IDEA.

I have heard it, didn't care for it too much honestly. It seems like they have some scattered gems here and there, but as far as full albums go, Transnational Speedway was the only album I was inclined to spend my money on.

Overall this is a pretty good band. I would see them live if they came through town.

Ok well, I've been trying to give them some more attention recently so I've listened through 3 of their albums, Blast tyrant, From Beale street...and Jam Room. I like Blast tyrant the most and Profits of doom has been stuck in my head for the better part of the day but I haven't managed to maintain an interest throughout an entire album. The songs all just start to sound the same after a while...plus, I've noticed some repetitiveness...:\

Still, they're my new go-to band for work-out music....

For starters I am a huge clutch fan, one of my all time favorite banRAB, and there's no one out there like em so far. I have 7 of there albums and one vinyl of Slow Hole to China. I love everything they've made, from there angry angsty start, to there jammin blues style of today, and there just as spectacular to see live. So any other Clutch fans out there, or anyone out there not like them for a specific or any reason?

Yeah, clutch is pretty dope! theyve actually ben around for quite a long time. Kinda that post-sabbath groovy stoner chaos thing with a just a spritz
of neil sedaka....yeah !!!!

Clutch are one of the best banRAB of the last 10 years. First heard of them when they had a single out on Earache. They played more straight up hardcore then and toured the UK with Biohazard. they've been on a few majors and always got shafted. The music has always been top quality more 'stonerish' with great lyrics. Live they can't be beaten.
