I just installed a 1964-1967 chevy 327 in my 63 chevy pick up and got it running but the transmission wont engage in any gear. Its a TH 400 automatic tranny and before I took it out, I had no problems with it what so ever. When I put it in gear, the engine doesnt kick down or anything just stays at idle. Ive put about 4 and a half quarts in it, and the level looked close, but I will have to let it run more to be sure its circulated. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Have a chevy small block 327 and TH400 transmission problem?
