Ok so the last time the car was driven was Friday, October 2nd, 2009. Woke up the next morning and tried to start it around 1:30pm. It won't start, it was fine coming home from work, there was a big rain storm during the night but that has never affected the car before. We check all the fuses, we checked the fuel levels, oil level, everything that was easy we checked first, then did a spark test and the car is NOT getting spark, but we can't figure out why. We think that distributor cap might've gotten wet so we left the hood open all day on sunday when it was really hot, to see if it would dry out. It still won't start. So then we tried putting a heat lamp on it for an hour, still won't start, last we tried putting a hairdryer on it for a half hour and it still won't start. It will turn over, tried pressing the gas pedal it won't start. Please any ideas would be helpful. Why is it not starting or getting spark!?
