Well the poem is sopposed to be about Brian's discovery of fire and how he calls his fire his ' hungry friend '. I need help on format two please i cant think of what to do! thanks On the assignment paper there are 2 formats you can choose from for the poem:
Format 1:
Line 1: a noun
Line 2: two adjectives
Line 3: three participles (-ing words)
Line 4: a phrase
Line 5: a synonym for the original noun.
Example:
Mules
Stubborn, unmoving
Braying, kicking, resisting
Not wanting to listen
People
Here is my Format 1 Poem:
Brian
Ambitious, determined
Blazing, scalding, flaming
His hungry friend
Survivor
Here is format 2:
Line 1: two syllables
Line 2: four syllables
Line 3: six syllables
Line 4: eight syllables
Line 5: two syllables
Here's an example:

With faint dry sound,
Like steps of passing ghosts,
The leaves, frost-crisp'd, break from the trees
And fall.
