Hasd anybody put a small block v-8 into a early 50's chevy 1/2 ton pickup?

I personally have not but my uncle shoehorned a 350 small block into one. Measure carefully and build your own custom engine mounts, and get a 3-4 core radiator as well. Of course that was 35 years ago so I can not give you more than just the parts I remember most. Oh, and you will need to custom mount the tranny as well.

I want to know if anybody have put a small block chevy v-8 into an early fifties chevy stepside. I have a 1951 pickup I want to put a 305 into with a TH 350. Any ideas, suggestions or helpful tips would be appreciated
