has your fish tank ever leaked..?

Depends on how and where it leaked.

My other half's uncles tank leaked while they were on holiday, all fish died and it did some pretty serious water damage to the house! They refilled the tank outside, it didn't leak, no obvious leak, remained a mystery!

If it was the seals, you can reseal a tank. Cracks in the glass aren't best fixed, instead you can replace the whole pane of glass. Although, it probably would be less of headache to buy a new tank! Depends on your enthusiasm for DIY!
 
If it is not a crack but a leak from the seals being old you van fix that. You can always reseal a tank. Look up DIY how to reseal a fish tank. All you need Is aquarium safe silicone a razor blade and time.

You could just patch the leak too.
 
Buy a new one. Once it starts leaking, it is almost impossible to fix, and you don't want to come home to find that your room has been flooded with fish water.
