Has this special human/dog relashionship happened to any one else? or is this...

...crazy thing just me? ok so i was out if town for a week.(this was after i just lost my 1st dog) and the day before i left, i had a dream about getting a new schnauzer. i went to many gift shops, AND THERE WERE DOGS AND EVEN A DOG GIFTSHOP EVERYWHERE!!!! i even insisted to my bff dogs were haunting me. i came home to a pup in my house. i was hysterical. he was my dog, or my dream. i spent an amazing two yrs with this angel.then i read a magizine that was selling a framed poem for dogs that passed. i thought "dang! i dont knw what i would do if i lost my dog" wll the next day he got hit by a car and passed away. i miss him immensly. but are those things just ironic? very ironic? bcause this a completely true stry. i didnt change anything.
he got out in the morning and since there's a busy street outside my neighborhood, he ran that direction and boom.

I have a story quite similar.
My mom had a beagle..she was our childhood dog.
December 23rd 07 I was at my moms house and giving the dogs some attention.
Well...I noticed that her beagle needed her nails clipped. I didn't have my clippers with me so I grabbed her toenails and joking said- "Don't think you can run from me much longer, I'm getting you tomorrow"
Well...Driving to my moms house on christmas eve I pulled down her road and was horrified to see her (my moms beagle) laying in the middle of the road.
Come to find out she had escaped earlier in the morning and my mom had been out calling and looking for her. She called for her one last time and she got hit by a car as she was crossing the road.

I have never stopped thinking about it since.
Its just very ironic.
