are there any rules in case ball hits spidercam and obstructs a sixer or even hinders a fielder in taking a catch?
@massey,
In the event that a batsman hits a ball for six but the ball hits the spidercam above the ground, what will happen then?
Will they track the path of ball in air and see whether it was actually going out of boundary, and will award six runs to the batsman and team? Will the ball not be counted?
Even in case of tracking the ball, how can you be sure that it would not have been caught by the fielder near the boundary when the ball was about to drop near the boundary?
If anyone hits the spidercam and the ball changes its path and then gets caught by a fielder, will it be considered an 'out'?
What are the present rules regarding this?
thanks for answering jhonny, but what happened then?
