I don't think I can recall one time where the public school system admitted that they were wrong about anything.
Universities have shown that homework is meaningless and nothing more then busy work, but they keep it going
youth drug rates actually increase after DARE education started beacuse it showed kids how to get drugs.
School starts at 7:30 but kids have to be at the bus stop at 5:45
The rest of the developed world out do us in math and science, do they blame themselves and think maybe THEIR Doing something wrong, no they just do more of the same crap and make kids hate learning more.
Those other countries have better school systems beacuse of school choice, do we do that, NO. Schools don't have to compete and can be as lazy as they want.
Wikipedia is cited and reviewed, DAILY. Do teachers let kids use it for reports, NO.
Teachers hate Wiki and the internet in general beacuse it kills their monopoly on information, it lets kids find more then one source of information and not depend on their teacher giving them a proper brainwashing.
and to prove how bad public school is I know that their are tons of errors in this rant.
