Has the Right Wing's attempts at abolishing Medicare put them in HOT H2O with

We grew up paying cash to the doctor and hospital. when the insurance companies took over the health system it just became a investment for many people and the costs sky rocketed. We pay just as much under medicare, supplemental, and drug program as we did before we retired.
 
The Right Wing's plan for the country is to make it resemble South America.....the very very rich would pay few ...if any ....taxes, there would be little governmental regulation of business, hardly any social programs. That is how South America views economics....the result is a few very, very rich....and everyone else lives in squalor. That is because money does not trickle down.

What makes a country a developed nation, what makes a country prosperous ....is to have a large and thriving middle class, with enough social programs in place to care for the sick, the old, the poor, the unemployed.

Because the Right Wing politicians are largely funded by big corporations (which already pay hardly any tax)..the very, very rich (who have not paid their fair share of taxes since shortly after World War II), and foreign interests who launder the money so that it appears to have come from an American source......they continually vote for things that favor these groups.

Their plan is to let the sick die from lack of medical care, to let the poor die from deprivation, to let the old die from both.....that way, there would be fewer of them around to bother with. They call this "family values".

So, yes, those who are old are able to see this fairly clearly as those that are old have been seeing this from that group for a long, long time....and yes, those who are old are are boiling mad about it.
 
Yes, just a continuation of a long list of foul ups by the Republicans. The problem with Medicare is the pay back system and unfortunately the recession. The states reimburse the doctors. Many states are finding it difficult to do this in a timely manor. They either do not have the funds or they have to wait for funding from the federal government.

The comment about many doctors not accepting Medicare patients is simply not true. Yes, there are a few, but not many. The rich doctors do not need Medicare. Most doctors do. Besides that they are forced to accept Medicare if their patients are 65 or older. Not very good for any doctor to turn down the elderly simply because of a funding problem.

If you doubt that, then use the find a doctor help page from Medicare. I tried it and found 15 doctors in my area.
 
The plan of the Republicans is to kill all of the senior citizens, they do not want us around, we are in the way. By them having to fiund seniors programs we will be taking away money that they can pocket and give to the Jews.
 
Medicare already isn't accepted at many physician's offices b/c of the horrible pay out and all the regulations. Then all the people Medicare sends out to check charting etc so they don't have to pay the bill if they find ONE thing wrong in the documentation. I think the whole system needs to be revamped so it actually helps the people who are on the plan. I think seniors and other people and even the young should fight for a change in our government insurance. Why retire to a horrible insurance plan that doesn't really pay for anything? A lot of seniors I have met in the clinic are still working so they may have decent insurance. I don't think that medicare should be abolished though!! Even with the minimal payout etc it's still better than NOTHING and it should be worked on not taken away COMPLETELY. I don't think the new proposals for medicare are good. It's all about $$$ not the people.
