suffering and needs of others? Why has social services that are paid into by all Americans who work, turned into something wrong and shameful when these same people need it in hard times (e.g. getting sick, injured, losing a job, losing a family member and income, economy/inflation, etc.)?
Why was it normal and respectable to accept so many new and beneficial cocial programs during the first Depression, bit now it's considered wrong and shameful during this one?

Nothing wrong in helping people who are in transition...one of the best uses of our tax dollars. Yet, many make a living out of it, and that is such a crime. And it is rampant.
