Is the global war on terror the biggest joke in of the century?

It's hard to tell since this century is just starting. Obama is going along with the gag with his surge of troops into Afghanistan.

and the government of Pakistan is edging ever closer to collapse, if that happens their 50 or some nuclear weapons will be up for grabs.
The Taliban and Al Queda are already in Pakistan too.

I don't know if terrorists with nuclear weapons is L.O.L. but it will certainly provide lulz.

Not to the terrorists, I am sure they wish the US would stop trying to kill them.

Yes, especially when you consider that "terror" is an emotion. How can one wage war on an emotion? I mean, I don't think anyone has to be fought into a position of not wanting to feel terror; that's a pretty universal "no-no". (When was the last time you heard someone say, "I love being terrified"?)

But the way in which this particular "war" has been waged has actually been the cause of much of the "terror" that people feel. The past administration used it as a way to scare us into giving up rights, and to engage in an illegal, unnecessary war. Not too funny, eh?
