When I first started doing business on Craig's list about 6 years ago, people showed up when they said they would, bought 90% of the time and rarely negotiated. Now it seems 1/2 the time they don't show when they say they will and offer insultingly low prices. Last week, I sold a desk from my office and someone was supposed to come at 10:00, she very was late. I told her that I had a business lunch at noon, but was otherwise free. She shows up AT NOON and was mad when I did not cancel my appointment and sent her away. Yesterday someone showed up 2 1/2 hours late right in the middle of dinner. This never used to happen. Are people getting ruder or what I just lucky before?
