Has Roddick improved enough to finally be able to beat Federer on Centre Court?

Roddick reportedly has been working on his fitness, his tactics for the past months, and this seems to be evident in his results.

Federer has convincingly eliminated Karlovic, who has the biggest serve in the game, and Soderling, who plays power tennis. He seems to be playing his best tennis, which is pretty darn good.

Is there anything new in Roddick's game that might suggest that he can pull a big upset on Sunday? Is there any reason to think that he has a chance to beat Federer when Federer has had his number for so long?

To be honest, Roddick can only win if Federer is off his game tomorrow. If Roger plays at his best, Roddick's fate is sealed. Federer has the game to beat anybody. It doesn't matter if the opponent has the fastest serve in the world.

But I agree Roddick has improved a lot and now has the game to beat Federer provided Roger gives him a window. He is coming to the nets a lot more and has also been successful at it thus far. But unlike Murray, Federer won't be sitting pretty behind the baseline and give him that many chances to rule the roost.
