has anyone who uses a Toyota Smart key entry experienced any health issues?

It has been a month since we got our new Toyota Prado, and the only male person driving it has experienced some issues with erections, or rather- lack of. It takes time to get an erection. This is a 30ish, non smoking, non drinking, fit person who does not have emotional issues. He keeps the smart key on his belt key holder all day... i have done numerous web searches...everything everyone has issues with the smart key itself.
He noticed the change in the past 2 weeks and realised that the only thing that has changed about him/around him is the fact that he uses the smart key...
I want to know if someone thinks they may have this issue.
how do these smart keys work anyway? does a current pass through the person holding the smart key to the sensor on the door?

No.

It uses a radio frequency to transmit to the Car.

It's such a tiny amount of current you wouldn't even notice it if it was on your skin. Anything more than that would drain the battery too fast.

So..... I'm assuming this is your significant other? If they are having erection problems they should talk to their Dr. But it's not the key. It's kind of silly to even suggest something like that.

What does having emotional issues have to do with getting it up?

It's a physical thing.

Again, tell him to talk to a Dr. he's the only qualified person to make any kind of diagnosis. Or at the very least, have him stop carrying the key around.
