One of my fish has dropsy. He shows the symptoms. I bought tetra fungus guard clears fungus and bacteria. I noticed that the box says that one of the ingredients is carcinogenic (causes cancer). I saw that it has potassium dichromate and it is apparently dangerous to aquatic life. Has anyone ever used Tetra Fungus Guard? Did the fish survive? Does it cure dropsy?
I have taken the sick fish out and placed it in another bowl. Should I treat the not sick fish as well? They don't show any symptoms, but I am scared they will die if not treated. I am also scared that I might kill them with my medication. Please help I don't know what to do.
