Has anyone taken a early detection test and gotten a positive?

with my 1st pregnancy i took one 1 day before my missed period and it was positive and with my 2nd i took one more than a week before my missed period and it was still positive!

I took a test 4 days before my missed period with my first pregnancy and it was negative. Took the same test the day after my missed period that was positive. Trying to figure out when I am going to test this month
 
My best advice would be to call the OBGYN and ask when you should take a HPT. Or tell them that you got one that was posative and go from there...

On another note, I never understood how someone could do something the day after nothing happened... lol

hey i say yu buy a two pack of tests and test both days you mentioned...lol. that way youll know for sure. =]

the test i took with my first baby, i believe i took it after my missed period. but that was 6 years ago....lol. and it was a positive.
 
With my dd#2 I remember buying a first response early result test and it in fact showed positive 5 days before my expected period. It wasn't even a faint line to tell you the truth, it was a definite pos. Two days later I took a $ store test and the same, pos. Of course they are more accurate the closer you are to the day of your expected period and thereafter but I start testing 9 dpo which for me is tomorrow! :)
