I've seen 28 Weeks Later, and it was a bit shit, especially in comparison to 28 Days Later. The child actors are pretty rubbish in it, too.

I've only seen 2 of those films, Inside Man and Final Destination 4.

Out of the 2 I would only reccomend one of them and that's 'Inside Man' which is one of my favourite movies in the last 5 years.

Not seen them all, but...

The Machinist: Overcooked, Twilight Zone-esque thriller that's really just another reworking of what is surely now the oldest twist in the book. Fairly stylish though, and a good performance from Bale.

Firewall: Thriller in snooze mode. Ford in snooze mode - but then when is he never? Strictly afternoon fare, if you must.

Deja vu: Silly, but entertaining science fictional thriller from T. Scott & Denzel W. Corny ending spoils it though, and I much preferred their earlier Man on Fire.

The Hills Have Eyes: The remake? A few notches above other horror remakes with a few nice ideas of its own. Give it a go.

The Machinist - Excellent, I recommend another of his films called Session 9, CREEPY film.

28 weeks later - Inferior to the first, but still worth seeing, a third is on the way I believe.

A perfect getaway - A fun movie

Orphan - one of the better horror films to come out

Abandoned - If you mean the 2006 horror film, it's dull, I was bored throughout.

Deja vu - It was okay, nothing terrible though

The Inside Man - Worth seeing

The hills have eyes - if the remake, definitely worth seeing, superior to the original for me

The Final Destination (4th one) 2d film on rental.. - I haven't seen it yet, but a friend watched it last night and thought it was the worst one out of the series, and horrendous, so I doubt 3D will improve on it.

Haven't seen the others in your list.

Didn't enjoy the Machinist much myself. Thought 28 Weeks later was a decent sequel, which added to the original, but not as good. Orphan was very watchable, would recommend it, a bit too long, but I think that about a lot of horror films.

Don't know what these people are on about - The Machinist - is excellent and a fantastic performance from Christian Bale.
I would have given him every award going for that performance.

Not seen all of them.

28 weeks later - essentially a remake of 28 Days Later, but with a better budget. Totally enjoyable.

A perfect getaway - A nice chase movie. I thought it was more thriller than horror, and very similar to Turistas.

Orphan - Great. Really morally objectionable too, with at least one jaw-dropping "they're not really going to do that are they" moment.

Abandoned - This was okay, but it was a little overlong and slightly dull. Not much really happens until the third act. It's basically just two characters for most of the movie, and feels really isolted, but I suppose that's the point.

The hills have eyes - Very enjoyable, but then it's virtually a scene-for-scene remake of the original, which was also very enjoyable.

The Final Destination (4th one) - Hokey but fun. The mall explosion I thought was the best disaster of the series.

The 28 days/weeks movies are really bad and overated. Yawnfest

Taking lives is crap and it's poor box office earnings proved it.

The Hills have eyes is a slow paced movie but it's worth sticking around to watch it all because the horror scenes are shocking and will keep you on the edge of the seat

Final destination 4 is nothing different in 3d and was a waste of time having it in 3d. The movie it's self is alright but it gets really far fetched and perhaps it was best for the 4th one to end the franchise

The Machinist I thought was excellent, Christian Bale is great in it, A bit like Memento maybe?

Inside Man, was much better than I was expecting, that was one I was pleasantly surprised by, clever take on the whole hostage hold up situation. :)

Only seen these two. Whiteout was mildly entertaining but quite predictable. Inside Man is much better if you can suspend your disbelief at the end.
