Has anyone seen Mrs. Obama's TV message requesting donations to the Red Cross?

I thought it was admirable and appropriate for her to make the announcement as ambassador of Good Will to the world. But did she have to wear her 2 carat diamond studs (in each ear) for that commercial shoot?

Do I agree with her politics? Not at all.

Cash donations are not needed -- you can have all the money in the world in Haiti, but if the stores/supplies are destroyed there, it isn't gong to do you ANY good!
