Has anyone read the book Traitor's Gate by Anne Perry?

Okay so here's the deal, I have to write about a 1000 word essay about the book Traitor's Gate by Anne Perry. It just has to be about one of the many theme's of the book it could have to do with honor, chivalry, class distinctions, etc.

I was thinking about writing about how important honor was in that time period and the great deals they went through to make sure their honor was upheld (ex: killing him wife, treason, etc etc).

Anyone have any input for me? Suggestions? I'm just kind of stuck on how I should go about writing this.
