Has anyone read the book the darkest evening of the year by Dean koontz?

I don't really get the bit about amy's ex-husband i forgot his name so could anyone explain it to me and what happened in the light house between them??
 
i have read it, but so long ago that i cant even remember the finer details of the book.
Dean Koontz is my favourite author. if i ever read the book again i shall let you know :)
 
i haven't read that
but i just wanna share that i've read one of Dean Koontz' books, "Odd Hours" .. and it's good
