Has anyone noticed the fashion trends in the past months?

Checkered shirts, plaid, skinny jeans, aviator glasses, floral patterns, blouses, 1950s styled dresses, Vans shoes, and the skateboard look have all become extremely popular in the past 6 months or so. I started noticing these trends about a year ago and slowly increased in popularity and then it suddenly exploded in popularity.
Also Converse shoes have become really popular.
 
Everything you listed sounds right. I think skinny jeans have been considered a trend since 2009. Definitely flannel plaid shirts and floral patterns have been huge fad. I think the 'Indie" style has become increasingly popular too.

As for shoes in the summer time gladiator sandals were seen more and as for now ankle boots with a heel are very stylish.

As for hair pieces, lots of people have tasteful floral handbands.

On the preteen level, kids seem to have the oddest fashions. "Scene" if I may say.
 
Duh.

It's the fashion for,
Preps,
People who jerk,
Skateboarders
And pretty much anyone whose stylish.
