Has anyone noticed that live action movies that heavily depend on CGI effects are...?

very well done on the installment of a series BUT poorly made on their sequels?

Like Spider-Man, for example. All the CGI effects on the first Spider-Man were very well done with full attention to details and movements...But on part 2, the CGI effects looked sloppy with lack of attention. The birth of "The Sand-Man" on part 3 was very very well done but the rest of the effects on the film looked sloppy.

The same with The Transformers. On the first one the effects looked very good but on the second one they looked more like cartoon animation than real time animation.

This seems to be a pattern with these types of films. Great CGI animations on the first but don't expect the same good quality on their sequels.
