Has anyone mailed a small compact flash card via USPS in a small envelope & it arrived

ok? I want to send my friend this. Maybe if I wrapped it in bubble wrap & stuck it in the envelope (just the standard-sized mailing envelope that requires .44 postage) but wasn't sure if it would crack in the mailing machines. Anyone mailed this or similar items w/ success?
This is for a digital camera.
