I'm a beginner dancer...in jazz, lyrical, and ballet. Since I'm a total newbie at dancing I have difficulty trying to choreograph my own dances. I've been a yogi (someone who does yoga) for several years now, I'd say I'm close to intermediate, definitely not beginner but no way can I compare to the advanced students. I'm really flexible, witch helps with dancing, and have some pretty good strength in my legs. Well anyways...for a lyrical dance...I was thinking of incorporating yoga in it rather than just having combinations and basic leaps and turns I've learned. Yoga is something I'm really comfortable doing and I'm running out of ideas for a routine. Opinions? Has anyone on here done this, if so, how did it work out?
