I have a 2007 Toyota Tundra 4.7 V8. I took it to the Toyota Dealer because it would not change gears and it would not go past 3000 RPMs. They had it for over 4 hours and what they found was that it was 3 quarts low on transmission fluid. They said that the transmission had no leaks and the cooling system that cools the transmission fluid was ok so the fluid is not evaporating. That's all that they could tell was wrong. They have no idea what happened to the fluid or why it was so low. I have no way to check the fluid other than to take it to the dealer. I was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem with their tundra. Any help is appreciated. Thank You!
