There is noise restrictions, they choose not to follow them. Thats what makes a Harly a Harly, take that away and its just another cruiser. If you don't like it, wind your window up. This is for discussion of motorcycles not putting them down. Get out of here.

1. there are noise limits. just because you don't want it that loud doen't mean it should be illegal
2. they're quieter than many street racers/wannabes
3. if it scared you when it went by, that means you didn't already know it was coming. it's precisely that lack of attention that puts us at risk. the loud exhaust is a way of letting you idiot car drivers know that we're in the area, as you obviously can't be bothered to pay attention and see us coming
