has anyone had experience with sigle-sex schools?

next year, i'm heading to a school just for girls. it wasnt really my choice or anything, but my parents. they totally want me to have an amazing future, which surely must involve going to the number one high school in Canada.

ahve any of you been or still are in a single-sex school? did you still end up having lots of friends boys AnD girls? how was it? that bad?

i went to an all-girls boarding school and it was a total fun!!! i enjoyed every moment of it. sometimes i even wish to turn back time and go back to high school.

i have lots of friends (boys & girls) and i notice that boys are very interested in girls who are from all-girls school. i don't know why ;)
 
I have not personally gone to a all girls school. I have been best friends with two girls that went to all girls elementary schools. One of whom continued to go to an all girls school through high school and when to a women's college.

Both girls did have more female friends than guy friends. But did also manage to have boyfriends as well.

From what I gather, girls schools are just like normal schools. You have your same stupid cliques and social rules. Only difference is you're surrounded by a ton more estrogen. So how you handle yourself, like in a normal high school, is entirely up to you.

And going to an all girls school won't "turn you lesbo." <roll eyes>
 
omg. next school year im going to an all girls school as well. so idk how its going to turn out. i just dont want to leave the school lesbian
