Has anyone had an experience like this? Is this weird?

*Note, me and my friend are not les or bi. Not even bi-curious.

The other day I was hugging my best friend goodbye (who was going back home..she lives on the other side of the world) and as we were hugging...it felt like there was no one else around us. It was a really weird and indescribable feeling. Our families were there watching us, but it still felt like there was no one/nothing else there. It was like magical and time stood still. Has anyone else felt that before with just a friend?

And is this weird? I know my friend felt the same things, too.

It doesn't mean anything, it just means you're a close friend. It isn't weird at all your friendships can have just as strong as emotions as a sexual relationship just w/o the sex.

Well, it's just a way of saying hello or good-bye, there's nothing wrong with it... well unless your a guy hugging a guy, haha. I hug my girlfriend a lot whenever I see her and whenever I say bye to her as well.
Hope I helped!
