My poor little girl cat is missing since Monday night. We were away, but had people feeding her and my two other cats. We also have a cat door, so the kitties can let themselves in and out as needed. This girl cat, unlike my boy cats, tends to stay very close to home and only hops out for a quick breath of fresh air, then hops back in. So we were shocked to come home and find her missing! We thought maybe she got caught in rain and found a hiding place, but it was clearing up this morning, when I left for work, and she was still gone. I've walked the streets calling her name and will knock on some neighbors' doors tonight. I also called the local shelter, but no go. Has anyone else had this experience, and how did it turn out? By the way, all of my cats are "fixed," so I don't think she's hunting for a boyfriend ...
