I had a sonogram with a blood test about a month ago and my ob/gyn said everything looked fine. The thickness on the baby's neck was normal. I got a call today from ob office that the second blood test taken 4 days ago, was borderline negative. She stated it could be a false negative but because of my age 39 (in 2 weeks 40) I should take the amnio eventhough I have been adamant I didn't want one. Because I am now so incredibly anxious I scheduled the amnio. Just wondering if anyone had the same experience of a "borderline" result.
Has anyone had a false positive for a Nucheal Translucency test?
