Has anyone ever tried to argue evolution with a mechanic?

Does this question make sense? And how do you argue evolution? It happens whether you acknowledge it or not

It really is a fact. Just because you are intellectually dishonest doesn't mean it becomes invalid

Why would somebody who's learned to repair cars/trucks have any special insight into biological processes?

By the way, that subjective term "make sense" is a lousy base for trying to decide what's real and what isn't. If you'd never been taught about gravity and the structure of our solar system, and you stood in your yard watching the sun all day, it would "make sense" to you to think the sun goes around you (on the earth), and you're not moving (rotating on an axis). But you would be wrong. That's why we deciding things by evidence, not by what "makes sense" to people with varying levels of knowledge.

Peace.

edit: it doesn't make any difference that some people refuse to accept facts -- evolution is an observed fact. Period. That some people are ignorant of that fact, or dishonestly deny it, is irrelevant to whether or not it's a fact. You'd probably claim that your religion is "true," though most of the world (the VAST majority) wouldn't accept your statement -- does that mean your religion isn't true, just because not everybody accepts it? You kinda dug yourself a hole there, huh? :)
